POSITION SUMMARY

*BLS Required

Safely transport inpatients to radiology for procedures. Patients may be transported via bed, stretcher or wheelchair. Patient safety and dignity are to be maintained at all times. The transporter interacts with the patient's caregivers to notify them the patient is being taken down for a procedure. The transporter also notifies the caregivers upon the patient's return to their room and provides hand off with the Ticket to Ride form.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • BLS Healthcare Provider Status-required
  • BLS required upon hire
