POSITION SUMMARY

Purchasing Technician must be able to multi-task in this fast paced roll, filling and placing orders serving as a tech and a buyer. Purchasing Tech will fill and place orders for the hospital and surgery center as well as manage costs and supplies for three major areas.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • High school Diploma or equivalent
  • 2-3 years in healthcare, preferably in materials management or surgery with knowledge of medical supplies
  • Must have strong computer skills with experience in excel
  • Experience in Lawson is a plus
