Under the general direction of the Chief Nursing Officer, the Director of Behavioral Health is responsible for maintaining efficient function of the psychiatric units on a 24-hour basis. Directly responsible for the successful operation of outpatient psychiatric programs. Functions as a resource person for staff members and assists in the necessary education of individual members. Takes call on rotation for the division of behavioral health.


  • Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in a social service field or a minimum of four (4) years of management in a social service area. Master’s Degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of psychiatric experience with emphasis on leadership and management experience.
