Job Description

Oversees clinical imaging operations at hospital and offsite locations.   Works with vendors to obtain best pricing for supplies and capital purchases.   Mentors supervisors and provides training and education opportunities. Acts as a liaison with radiologist groups.  Monitors staffing levels to meet productivity goals. Works with patients and family members to provide positive outcomes and meet patient satisfaction goals. Interviews, hires and oversees evaluations of all imaging employees. Works with other leadership members for interdisciplinary process improvement. Acts as chairman for radiation safety committee. Maintains compliance for imaging with state, local and federal regulations.


Qualifications

 

 

Graduate from AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology.  Member in good standing with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).  Current Louisiana License in Radiologic Technology.  Bachelors degree in business or related field.

Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as an Imaging Supervisor/Director level in a hospital setting.
