Job Description

The PSA is responsible for providing basic nursing care such as bathing, linen changes, toileting and feeding if needed. PSA's are also responsible for simple procedures and tasks as assigned such as routine vital signs , emptying foleys, drains, etc.  and maintaining a safe working environment to ensure patient's safety. 



Qualifications

Must have High School Education. CNA certification is preferred.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.  Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and the community.  Good computer skills. Must be self-directed and self-motivated.  Must have BLS and COAP.  New hires must obtain certifications within 90 days of hire.
